J and I are at SXSW this week. J is working and I'm watching a lot of live music. Awesome y'all - as they say hereabouts.

Lewes Bonfire Night

Lordy, lordy. What a spectacle. Our first bonfire night since we moved south. It was such a fab evening filled with smoke, fire, deafening bangers and many friendly folk. We followed the Cliffe Bonfire Society, starting with a pint at the Dorset Arms, the society's HQ. We didn't last the entire night - which goes on for about 7 hours! My ears are still ringing.

Under the Skin - Jonathan Glazer

When I read the book I thought "film, I want to see the film!!". It's difficult to imagine how it will be visualised - which is exciting. With J Glazer directing I can only imagine a visual feast . . . I hope.

Went to this exhibition on Friday - Ahhh, mind blowing. Particularly Susan Derges work. Part art, part photography with no lens. I'm hooked.
